2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Authentication credentials (password hash or OAuth token)
• Connected platform usernames (TikTok, Whatnot)

Live Stream Data

When you use the ZIG extension during a live stream, we process:

• Public chat messages from your live stream viewers
• Viewer usernames visible in the public chat
• Stream metadata (duration, viewer counts, timestamps)

Important: We only process chat messages that are already publicly visible in the live stream. We do not access private messages, DMs, or any non-public content.

Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service:

• Browser type and version
• Pages visited within our web application
• Feature usage statistics (e.g., insights generated, questions caught)
• Error logs and performance data

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by our third-party payment processor. We do not store your credit card number, CVC, or bank account details. We receive only a confirmation of payment status and a customer identifier.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Analyze live stream chat to generate AI-powered insights
• Deliver post-stream reports and analytics
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send important service updates (not marketing emails)

4. AI Processing

ZIG uses artificial intelligence to analyze live stream chat messages. Chat data is sent to our AI provider's API for real-time processing. Our AI provider does not use API data to train its models.

We do not use your data to train any AI models. Chat messages are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored in raw form beyond your stream report data.

5. Data Retention

• Account data: Retained until you delete your account.
• Stream reports and insights: Retained for as long as your account is active.
• Raw chat messages: Processed in real-time and not stored beyond the analysis session.
• Payment records: Retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations.

When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• AI service providers: For chat analysis (processed in real-time, not stored by the provider)
• Cloud infrastructure providers: For authentication and data storage
• Payment processors: For payment processing
• Law enforcement: When required by valid legal process

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including:

• Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) for all data
• Secure authentication for account access
• Access controls restricting data to account owners
• API authentication tokens for all backend requests

While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

• Withdraw consent by discontinuing use of the Service
